Our Design-Build Process
When a client contacts Perennial by phone, website inquiry, email, or text message, we endeavor to respond within 24 hours.
Our first priority is understanding the client's project goals, budget expectations, priorities, and timeline. We prefer to do this in person and on-site so we can evaluate conditions that may affect the project, including drainage, utilities, access, sunlight exposure, soil conditions, grading, and existing structures.
On-site visits also help us determine whether the project and client are a good fit for Perennial's design-build approach.
Depending on the project scope and selected design package, we may create concept sketches, hand drawings, AI renderings, 2D plans, or 3D visualizations. Revisions are based on the selected design package.
Once a concept or design is approved, a detailed proposal is prepared and presented either in person or electronically, depending on project complexity.
Upon project acceptance, a scheduling deposit is collected, followed by a start deposit, with final payment due upon substantial completion.
Tim personally oversees each project. Communication occurs daily on larger projects and multiple times throughout smaller projects. Clients receive Tim's direct cell phone number and are encouraged to communicate openly throughout the project.
Changes are managed through electronic change orders to maintain clarity and transparency.
